JAMAR JONES INSTITUTE
a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization (EIN: 82-5111365)
Founded in 2018, The Jamar Jones Institute (JJI) was formed as a response to addressing specific societal and social stressors on individuals, families, and communities at-large through performing arts programming and education opportunities.
We intend to become a local, regional, national, and international resource in Arts presentation, Arts education, Arts therapy, and Arts therapy research. JJI will serve thousands daily, encourage hundred of thousands weekly, and inspire millions annually.
All current and future programs offered by JJI follow a simple strategy for ongoing success:
Meet an individual’s natural need.
Ensure the atmosphere for every individual is one where he/she can experience positive emotions.
Empower the individual to recreate the positive emotional experience over and over again.
Make life less stressful.
The premier hyper-scalable digital institute for performing arts content, art education services, and arts therapy practice.
A music industry veteran of 20+ years that discovered his love for music at the age of 4 when his mother bought a piano following the death of his father, the late Rev. George Idus Jones, Sr. The piano became what Jamar calls “the seat of my emotional expression” allowing him the opportunity to see the entire world through music and travel. Along with continuing a successful career in the entertainment industry and church as a worship pastor, Jamar is unleashing his passion in serving the underserved relative to performing arts access, arts education, and arts therapy.
He holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration from Ashford University and a Master of Music in Jazz Piano from University of Texas at Arlington. Husband to SGT Alishia Jones (U.S. Army) and father to three beautiful children, he and his family reside in Mansfield, TX.
